Tang's Buffet Bracknell
When it comes to all-you-can-eat Asian fusion in Bracknell, Tang's Buffet Bracknell easily takes center stage. Nestled conveniently at 5b, The Lexicon, 4 Eagle Ln, this spacious buffet restaurant is a go-to destination for food lovers who crave variety, flavor, and freedom to indulge. Whether you’re a fan of crispy fried chicken or craving a sweet ending with tiramisu and ice cream, this place has you covered-and then some.
What really sets Tang’s Buffet apart is the sheer variety. The buffet stations are laid out with thoughtful precision, offering everything from traditional Asian mains to popular Western bites and even a few surprises in between. You'll likely start with a warm plate of Egg Fried Rice Chicken or perhaps dive straight into something heartier like Prawn Curry or the flavor-packed Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce. It’s not just about Asian staples either-Chicken Nuggets and Roti make a guest appearance for those who lean towards something familiar or need a kid-friendly plate.
The vibe is relaxed and open, perfect for group gatherings or a casual meal on your own. It’s popular for both lunch and dinner, and for good reason: the all-you-can-eat format makes it ideal for diners who want to explore and try a little of everything without the pressure of choosing just one dish. The Salad Bar and Fresh Fruit section are a nice touch, offering a refreshing balance between rich mains and lighter bites.
If you're into desserts, Tang’s doesn’t hold back. Expect options like Tiramisu, Cake, Candy, and multiple Ice Cream flavors. The dessert section has built a loyal following of its own, with guests often raving about the presentation and freshness. The Buffet Plate experience is complete only when you swing by this counter and top it off with something sweet-maybe even a dash of lemon or two for those who like a zesty finish.
One of the hidden gems at Tang’s is their Hot Pot offering. Not every buffet restaurant ventures into this territory, but Tang’s manages to make it approachable and exciting, especially for first-timers. Choose your broth, drop in your favorite ingredients, and enjoy a mini-cooking experience right at your table.
Tang's Buffet Bracknell also caters to diners with accessibility needs. The venue offers a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, seating, and toilet, ensuring everyone can enjoy the food without hassle. It’s a thoughtfully designed space, accommodating large groups while maintaining a steady and efficient flow throughout the service.
Drinks-wise, the selection complements the food. From classic beer and cocktails to a glass of wine or a simple coffee, there’s a drink for every type of diner. It’s not uncommon to see a table pairing their buffet meal with a bottle of chilled white wine or sipping on a spirit while exploring another round of small plates.
Tang’s is also great for quick bites or even a late-night food fix. The all-you-can-eat format means there’s no waiting around for a single dish to arrive. Just walk up, load your plate, and enjoy. If you’re on the go or prefer to dine at home, takeaway is available too-though nothing quite beats the in-house buffet experience.
As for ambiance, the restaurant strikes a balance between modern and comfortable. It’s informal but stylish, with a family-friendly feel. Solo diners will feel just as at ease as large groups celebrating a birthday or office gathering. You’re not rushed, and the layout allows you to roam freely between stations without feeling crowded.
Overall, Tang's Buffet Bracknell shines as a reliable, satisfying, and well-loved dining spot in the heart of the Lexicon. With a constantly refreshed spread and something for every palate-be it savory curries, crunchy fried items, or vibrant desserts-it’s no wonder this buffet has carved out a name for itself in the Bracknell food scene.
Reviews
We tried this place one Friday last week and found it reasonably ok but without wow factor. The food was just ok, nothing special, and not a great choice and variety. Prices are slightly inflated for the quality and choice available.
I enjoyed my meal here. Was gobsmacked at the choices available. Chinese, Japanese, Indian, European, to mention a few. Everything looked lovely and clean and everything I had was tasty. Chocolate fountain was a big hit with the kids. Bar on site with wines and beers available. Refill soft drinks also available but all drinks are paid for separately. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Went in with a mission to try everything but wasn’t possible with the amount on offer. Would recommend this place for a cheap tasty meal.
Second time I've been with my family and we all enjoyed the tasty food! I've been to cosmo many times and would say the food at tangs has a much better flavour to most of their options. I've been recommending tangs to friends as we have enjoyed it that much. It does seem a little worn down with the seating and in the loos, but it hasn't put us off.
Very good experience! Was only expecting Chinese and Japanese foods, but Indian section literally amazes me. All Indian foods were one to one superb. I asked for the Indian chef to congratulate and I came to know chef named Vikas was the man behind the amazing foods. Cons. >No wifi available in the shop (also no network for your phone)(No O2, Vodafone, Lebara network available) > Parking is not available (you can find paid car park nearby)
